I hope that you all have a great Labor Day holiday. College football is now in full swing. It is a long season so where you start in the rankings isn’t as important as where you end.
We have a chapter social next Saturday at the park we built next to the Medford N/G Armory starting at 1:00. It will be a potluck salads and dessert. Bring your own chair. We have several folding tables to put the food on.
September is VeteRun which happens on the 27th at the Jackson County Expo. I put out an email a few days ago addressing the fact that veteran suicide is still around 22 veterans a day taking their own life so if you cannot make the event due to distance of health issues, perhaps you can go to our chapter website and make a donation of $22 for the 22 suicides each month. All proceeds go to the 3 charities that offer free benefits for their program participants. I am in a contest with my other committee members to see who can get the most donations for this year’s event. Please help by going to https://ncoarogue.org then use the donation button, choose Zeffy and VeteRun, then when it gets time to add a fee , use the drop down & choose other and then enter 0 . If you don’t want to use a credit card and would rather write a check, send it to the address below.
